JPFL Films becomes India’s first packaging manufacturer to release BOPA Nylon films

JPFL Films Private Limited, a subsidiary of India’s largest flexible packaging enterprise, Jindal Poly Films Ltd. (JPFL), has end up the first player to introduce Biaxially Oriented Polyamide (BOPA) Nylon films in India. JPFL has invested Rs.120 crore at its new facility in Nashik.

This new product release mirrors the enterprises commitment to infuse technological development and innovation in production procedures, improve high-quality, enhance costs and make sure improved consumer satisfaction. Speaking at the release, Dr. Mahesh N. Gopalasamudram, Deputy CEO (Growth Division), JPFL Films stated, “With the release of BOPA Nylon Films, JPFL Films Private Limited has appears because the first player to convey the invention to the Indian market. This precise product gives progressed mechanical properties and aroma barrier. This may even play a main role in bringing solutions throughout pharma, medical, FMCG, and food applications. It will be noteworthy to point out that 100% of these films have been imported until currently.”

One of the primary traits of this particular offering is its isotropicity (same set of characteristics or properties in all directions) generated in unique Japanese double bubble film technology that promises dimensional balance, puncture resistance and homogeneity across the length and width of the product. In addition, the product is appropriate for high speed printing and serves as an efficient barrier for aroma and gases.

“BOPA films are also produced via our group enterprise Jindal Nylon films in Italy. This experience will also aid us in serving the Indian clients and bringing international innovation locally,” delivered Dr. Gopalasamudram.
