Epsilon Carbon launches Terrablack at Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025

Terrablack is a product prepared to address the developing demand for sustainable carbon black

Epsilon Carbon, a global leader in carbon black production declares the release of Terrablack, a product line that targets to form the carbon black sector with sustainability at its core.

The unveiling came about within the presence of Sajjan Jindal, Chairman and MD, JSW Group; Vikram Handa, Managing Director, Epsilon Carbon; Gaurav Mathur, CEO; and Desh Deepak Misra, President – Carbon Black enterprise at the Bharat Mobility Show’s India International Tyre Exhibition, New Delhi.

Terrablack is a product designed to deal with the growing demand for sustainable carbon black. Using recovered Carbon Black (rCB) and Tyre Derived Oil (TDO), this product line objectives to form the future of carbon black production. It gives excessive-performance, eco-friendly solutions that meet the demands of each the tyre and non-tyre industries. After 24 months of in-intensity checking out and collaboration, Terrablack brings together innovation and obligation in complete stability.

Terrablack portfolio consists of Terrablack 3310, engineered for heavy-obligation applications like tyre treads, offering superior wear put on resistance and durability while Terrablack 6615, is designed for flexibility and resilience, best for tyre sidewalls, hoses, belts, and sealing systems. Both products are formulated to praise traditional virgin carbon black, delivering the identical first-rate with a drastically reduced environmental impact.

The Terrablack merchandise can lower the Global Warming Potential (GWP) by 40-50% because the case may be, helping worldwide environmental goals and helping compliance with Tyre Extended Producer Responsibility requirements.

Vikram Handa, Managing Director, Epsilon Carbon stated, “Terrablack isn’t always just a product; it is a promise—a promise to innovate, guard the planet, and drive industries toward a greener future. We agree with that innovation, overall performance and sustainability need to cross hand in hand, and Terrablack is a testament to that notion and it’s a important step in our task to redefine the carbon black industry and pave the way for a greater sustainable day after today.”

Looking forward, Epsilon Carbon is advancing its sustainability commitment with the planned establishment of a completely included tyre recycling plant in Karnataka, predicted to be operational through FY26 in order to recycle 30,000 tonnes of tyres annually, producing nine,500 tonnes of recovered carbon black and 12,000 tonnes of tyre-derived oil.

This initiative reinforces Epsilon Carbon’s commitment to turning the idea of a circular economy into a sensible reality. With Terrablack, Epsilon Carbon is placing a brand new standard, proving that sustainability does no longer must come at the price of performance.
