Cleantech business group, ACME, and IHI Corporation, Japan’s incorporated heavy industry group, have introduced significant progress on the growth of “India’s biggest” green ammonia venture in Gopalpur, Odisha.
Since the signing of an first Memo-randum of Understanding (MoU) in 2023, the venture has attained significant mile stones, including the formation of a joint venture partnership – ACME Clean Energy Pvt. Ltd. – and IHI’s acquisition of a 30% stake in the jv, the corporation stated in a introduce. The facility is planned to manufacture about 0.4-million tons of green ammonia yearly upon completion.
