The GGIP involves a big scale gas processing plant, with a first phase of 300 Mcf/d with a purpose to get better gas being flared on 3 oil fields and deliver gas to 1.5 GW of power technology potential.

In expectation of the start up of this important gas processing facility, the ArtawiGas25 venture will drastically less gas flaring at the Ratawi field as early as end 2025. The creative modular design of ArtawiGas25 could also pave the way for capability replication throughout different Iraqi oil fields. ArtawiGas25 will create up to 160 direct and indirect jobs for Iraqi nationals throughout production segment and 30 jobs throughout operation phase.
