Chemeon, SurTec Form Alliance to Expand Surface Treatment Access

The corporations stated the partnership targets a increasing sustainable alternatives to hexavalent chrome.

Chemeon Surface Technology, a supplier of advanced chemical solutions for surface finishing, and SurTec, a specialty chemical maker for surface treatments, have created a strategic alliance to increase access to surface treatment technologies and guide global adoption of optional chemistries.

As per the declaration, the partnership merges Chemeon’s U.S. Market presence with SurTec’s international network, permitting expanded distribution of trivalent surface remedy solution. Chemeon will offer access to selected SurTec technologies in the U.S., whilst SurTec will distribute Chemeon products worldwide with local technical guide and infrastructure.

The corporations said the alliance targets to guide industry transition away from hexavalent chrome by growing availability of trivalent chemistries, along with military-qualified coatings and corrosion protection systems. As per the corporations, those materials are formed to meet regulatory necessities while maintaining overall performance in applications together with aerospace, automobile and defense.

“This strategic alliance … marks a pivotal step in our commitment to safer, more sustainable surface completing chemistry and services,” Chemeon CEO Madylon Meiling stated in a declaration. “By combining our innovation, experience, marketing, and sales, we are expanding access to worldwide supply chains and increasing the worldwide transition from dangerous material while supplying seamless, end to end solutions that enhance overall performance and regulatory compliance.”

As part of the agreement, SurTec’s U.S. Operations may be incorporate with Chemeon’s Nevada-based technical canter to support sales, training and application development. The corporation stated they will also conduct joint research and development, analytical testing, and coordinated purchaser engagement initiatives, which includes technical training and industry events.
