New Delhi-based Suntek Group has introduced essential capacity rise throughout all three of its manufacturing centers in Jharkhand, Odisha, and Uttar Pradesh, positioning it to emerge as India’s largest Chlorinated Paraffin Wax (CPW) producer.
Once finished, those expansions will increase Suntek’s total monthly CPW manufacturing to 10,000 metric tons, alongside 20,000 metric tons (mt) of hydrochloric acid (HCl), a precious byproduct, the product stated in a press note.
As per records on the corporation’s website, its present day annual manufacturing ability is 48,000-mt for CPW and 90,000-mt for HCl.
The primary use of CPW is as a flame blocking in rubber and polymer structures. It is typically used as a plasticiser in the formulation of PVC compounds and granules except being used in paints, sealants, and adhesives. The corporation plans to market its HCl throughout chemicals, steel, and water treatment sectors.
Suntek said all its 3 plants are being upgraded with modernized infrastructure, expanded chlorination units, and improved automation systems, besides improved storage solutions, and greater safety protocols.
“As the Indian chemical area gears up for higher demand in PVC and polymer additives, Suntek is well-located to lead with capability, compliance, and credibility. With this growth, Suntek isn’t only improving its domestic footprint however also stepping onto the global level as a serious contender in the chlorinated derivatives section,” the company informed.
The corporation’s flagship Jharkhand unit, already connected by pipeline to a primary chlorine supplier, is centered on industrial-grade CPW manufacturing. The site is focused on feeding demand in eastern and central India.
The Odisha site in Gopalpur is being evolved as an export-orientated facility. Its coastal benefit, coupled with access to port infrastructure and global shipping routes, will assist Suntek cater to the Southeast Asian and Middle Eastern markets.
The UP facility is being scaled to serve excessive-demand hubs in northern and western India. “Its increased packaging and distribution setup will make sure faster delivery and more customer responsiveness,” the corporation informed.
Suntek said its product range spans from low-viscosity to high-viscosity CPW grades, tailored to applications in PVC, rubber, textiles, and paints. The corporation offers lead-free and phthalate-loose CPW formulations, meeting international safety standards.
