Nayara selects Univation’s Unipol PE procedure for 650,000 TPA polyethylene plant in India

The procedure also gives exceptional product flexibility, permitting the manufacturing of a wide range of polyethylene resins

Univation Technologies has declared that Nayara Energy Limited has selected its Unipol PE process technology for a world-scale polyethylene manufacturing line in Vadinar, Gujarat, India. The new facility can have an annual manufacturing capability of 650,000 ton of polyethylene (PE).

Nayara Energy’s selection emphasize the main benefits of the Unipol PE process, inclusive of its low capital investment (CAPEX) and highly competitive operating costs (OPEX), delivering strong manufacturing economics throughout the comparative’s entire polyethylene portfolio.

The process also gives exceptional product flexibility, allowing the manufacturing of a wide range of polyethylene resins—which includes linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) and high-density polyethylene (HDPE)—to effectively serve the diverse and developing requires of the Indian PE market.

Furthermore, Nayara Energy’s new polyethylene manufacturing line will incorporate Univation’s Premier APC+ 3.0 Advanced Process Control Platform. Purpose-built for the Unipol PE system, this advanced system is designed to optimize raw material yields, improved operational overall performance, and allow seamless transitions between distinctive PE resin grades. By integrating Premier APC+ 3.0, Nayara Energy is well-positioned to achieved industry-leading overall performance in uptime, raw material performance, and consistent, on-specification production.
