Japanese chemicals MNC UBE Corporation has declared that it has certified 2-products underneath its environmental product brand, U-BE-INFINITY, marking a big-step within the corporation’s push for sustainable development.
The certifications includes a biomass composite nylon recently underneath development by UBE and ISCC PLUS certified polybutadiene products by now generated and sold through Thai Synthetic Rubbers Company Ltd. (TSL), a member of the UBE Group.
The U-BE-INFINITY brand is allotted for products “that shows mainly tremendous environmental effects, hence improving their added value,” UBE stated, including that it seeks to “assist solve global environmental troubles by the extensive adoption of U-BE-INFINITY products.”
The recently certified products are Biomass Composite Nylon — this applies UBE’s proprietary composite technologies to plant-based on resins (polyamide 56 and polyamide 510). It guarantees overall performance exceeding conventional petroleum-based materials and is appropriate for automotive components in addition to electrical and electronic parts.
By advancing furthermore research and development, UBE targets to contribute to carbon neutrality throughout multiple fields, along with “construction materials, furniture, and household items.”
The second one is ISCC PLUS Certified Polybutadiene products associated to ISCC-certified bio-circular or circular raw materials using the ISCC PLUS mass balance approach. All products formed at TSL’s Rayong factory in Thailand meet the latest ISCC PLUS needs and hold the same quality as conventional products.
While supplying wear resistance, energy loss properties, durability, and processability across applications like automotive tires, commercial rubber, shoe soles, and golf balls, the products also “support to managing worldwide environmental problems,” UBE stated.
