TACC and NCB partner to advance sustainable concrete innovation with graphene based additives

Graphene, a single layer of carbon atoms in a hexagonal lattice, is known for its unique strength, conductivity, and light-weight properties

TACC Limited has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with National Council for Cement and Building Materials (NCB) as the next leap forward in the innovation of sustainable, durable, and high performance concrete by the use of TACC’s Graphene primarily based additives.

Graphene, a single layer of carbon atoms in a hexagonal lattice, is known for its tremendous strength, conductivity, and light-weight properties, with applications in electronics, energy storage, coatings, composites, construction materials, and textiles.

With TACC’s progressive graphene based additives and NCB’s skills in actual technology, this collaboration goals to integrate graphene’s amazing properties into concrete to improve energy, durability, and overall performance and make a contribution to decreasing carbon emissions, aligning with India’s vision for net-zero emissions and climate commitments.

This collaboration will enforce advancements in next generation construction materials, paving the way for high-overall performance, sustainable infrastructure.
