Indian Army and NTPC be join together for power supply using hydrogen

NTPC has designed this progressive sun hydrogen-based microgrid device to function independently, using hydrogen as an electricity garage medium to deliver 200kW of strength round-the-clock in the course of the yr. This system will replace present diesel gensets at off-grid Army locations, presenting a sustainable power supply despite harsh iciness conditions, where temperatures drop to -30°C at an altitude of 4,400 meters. NTPC will keep the mission for 25 years, aiming to help Indian soldiers stationed in these strategically widespread tough terrains and tough weather.

The solar-hydrogen microgrid is ready to replace existing diesel generators currently in use at off-grid Army places.
