Hydrom and thyssenkrupp nucera sign Memorandum of Understanding to discovery the capability of localization of assembly and services hubs for water electrolyzers

Hydrogen Oman (Hydrom) and thyssenkrupp nucera have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to work together in helping the developing green hydrogen zone in Oman, with the goal of fostering future collaboration. Identifying the ability for localization and improvement possibilities are key factors of the meant collaboration.

The MoU was signed within the presence of Oman’s Minister of Energy and Minerals, HE Salim Nasser Al Aufi, at some stage in Hydrom’s inaugural gH2 Investor Day in Muscat, Oman. Hydrom is the national orchestrator for Oman’s green hydrogen strategy and awarded over 2,300 sq kilometers of land for large scale green hydrogen production.

The enterprise plays a role in encouraging an integrated ecosystem with the aid of figuring out local applications, building strategic partnerships, and helping with complete market analyses. Hydrom is likewise driving tasks to streamline regulatory frameworks, enhance infrastructure planning, and align body of workers growing with sector needs, ensuring a sustainable and scalable hydrogen economy that meets both domestic and international demand.

Through the growth of a dynamic and sustainable green hydrogen ecosystem, we goal to position the Sultanate as a main worldwide green hydrogen hub. Collaborating with thyssenkrupp nucera is a in addition big step on our ways to attain our ambition,” said Eng. Abdulaziz Said Al Shidhani, Managing Director of Hydrom.
