DCM Shriram Commissions Caustic Soda Project In Gujarat

DCM Shriram Ltd announced the a success commissioning of its Caustic Soda Expansion Project, including 850 Tons Per Day (TPD) to its chemical complicated at Jhagadia in Gujarat. With this, the enterprise’s overall mounted potential now stands at 2,225 TPD in Bharuch alone, stated a reliable release right here on Saturday.

The commissioning of this modern-day venture in Bharuch district solidifies DCM Shriram’s position within the chemical enterprise, “marking the Bharuch Chemical Complex because the unmarried biggest caustic soda facility in the U. S . A .”, stated the company. After the commissioning, the business enterprise’s annual caustic capability throughout Bharuch (Gujarat) and Kota (Rajasthan) stood at 1 million metric Tons Per Annum (TPA).

“We are the second biggest caustic soda manufacturer inside the country and are bullish on the long-term sustainable increase and profitability of our chlor-alkali enterprise segment given its sturdy correlation with the GDP boom of the United States. This mission is a testament to our enterprise in constructing economies of scale, riding efficiencies, and offering reducing facet generation & infrastructure. We also are within the superior degrees of commissioning Hydrogen Peroxide & Epichlorohydrin initiatives in this area,” the enterprise brought.
