For the second time in 2024 the Charlotte-based totally manufacturing agency broadcasts layoffs to offset principal income declines

During the fourth quarter of 2024, Albemarle expects to record a charge typically associated with severance and associated benefit costs bobbing up from these actions.

For the full year 2025, Albemarle’s capital costs are forecasted to be between $800 million and $900 million. The majority of this spend could be aligned with sustaining existing resources and assets, with the remainder allocated to pick out boom projects and high-return, quick payback upgrades.
