Veolia buys US speciality chemicals company advancing circularity in semiconductor industry

Veolia, a French multinational corporation with skills in environmental services, has introduced that its North American unit has finished the acquisition of Chameleon Industries, a Texas primarily based manufacturer of speciality chemicals.

Chameleon operates four manufacturing centers in Texas, Oregon and Arizona that get recover by products of semiconductor production for beneficial reuse. This circular economic solutions producers decrease their environmental effect and enhance efficiency.

Bob Cappadona, President and CEO of Veolia North America’s Environmental Solutions and Services commercial enterprise said, “As part of our ‘Green Up’ strategy, adding this particular circular economy technology to our wide portfolio of environmental and infrastructure solutions supports amplify our capabilities for customers and play an essential role within the development of America’s technology sector.”

Jared Garza, CEO of Chameleon added, “By joining Veolia’s global network of chemical recovery and environmental service operations, Chameleon will be able of better serve our customers, grow our business for the long time and provide opportunities for our people. Veolia is already an established environmental chief in the micro electronics industry, and will permit us to convey our technology to a broader phase of the industry.”
