Swiss specialty chemicals company, Clariant, is increasing its Cangzhou production site for the manufacturing of Nylostab S-EED, a multifunctional additive designed to be used with nylons

The new, 2nd manufacturing line in the Hebei Province of China, will together be owned and operated by Clariant and its local associate Beijing Tiangang Auxiliary Co. Ltd.

“We are delighted to take our partnership with Beijing Tiangang to the next stage by means of breaking grounds on a 2nd manufacturing line in Cangzhou. The continued funding from Clariant demonstrates our dedication to the Chinese marketplace and reaffirms our strong notion in the prospects of nearby industries consisting of textiles and fibres, automobile and packaging,” stated Mr. Zhigang Miao, Clariant’s Global Head of Polymer Solutions, Additives Polymer Solutions.

For 3 years, since the release of the first joint project site in 2021, the manufacturing site has gained full capacity.

Clariant’s said its Nylostab S-EED additive is quite well suited with nylons through molecular recognition. “Its excellent process stability at high temperatures effects in less filament breakage at some stage in spinning processes and enhances productivity by way of lowering cycle time for injection moulding processes,” the enterprise informed.

“We are confident that our new multifunctional additive Nylostab S-EED, produced at the new site, will have an awesome number of application regions across the middle nylon value chain, which is seeing a surge in ability enlargement and call for especially from the textile and engineering plastics industry in China,” said Ms. Sandra Schneider, Clariant’s Head of Operations & Supply Chain Additives.
