Ketjen Corporation, a leader in catalyst and specialty chemicals, has teamed up with Saudi Aramco Technologies Company (SATC), a subsidiary of Aramco, in a new Joint Development Agreement (JDA) targeted at revolutionizing Fluid Catalytic Cracking (FCC) catalysts and additives.
The partnership is formed to enhance refinery efficiency, rise high-value product yields, and decrease environmental effect.
The collaboration joins Ketjen’s expertise in FCC catalyst innovation with Aramco’s many years of refining experience. Together, the corporations will co-develop proprietary catalysts and additives, integrating cutting-edge R&D with operational insights to improve refinery performance and reduce the environmental footprint.
“This collaboration is anticipated to guide the development of next-generation catalyst solutions, integrating with Aramco’s global operational techniques and setting a latest standard for efficiency and overall performance throughout the industry,” stated Bob Leliveld, Chief Technology Officer at Ketjen.
