Novopor acquires US-based pressure Chemical Company

Novopor Advanced Science Pvt. Ltd, a Hyderabad-primarily based speciality chemicals CDMO and a Bain Capital portfolio enterprise, has extended its capabilities in high-pressure chemistry and complex speciality production, with the accession of Pressure Chemical Company (PCC), an associate of the Belgium- based Minafin Group. The financial terms of the transaction have been now not disclosed.

Founded in 1964 and headquarter in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (US), PCC has expertise in high-pressure chemistry, polymerisation, and alkoxylation. The enterprise gives process development, piloting, and low-volume, high-value production, with a robust record file of solving complex technical demanding situations. Its professional team, flexible infrastructure, and long-standing clients relationships make it a trusted partner for specialized chemical solutions – and a natural supplement to Novopor’s expanding platform.

Novopor stated the accession will assist boost its method to build an integrated speciality chemicals platform by combining early-stage innovation capabilities with large-scale production.

“This acquisition strengthens our potential to aid clients throughout the entire development lifecycle – from early-stage innovation via to commercial production,” stated Mr. Radhesh Welling, CEO of Novopor Advanced Science. “Pressure Chemical brings deep technical expertise, a highly skilled crew, and robust client relationships which can be highly complementary to our platform. Together, we will invest in on expanding our facility footprint, improving our skills in complicated chemistries, and create seamless get entry to to large-scale fine and specialty manufacturing. This is an important step forward in building a differentiated, high-effect platform for our international clients,” he added.

“Pressure Chemical and Minafin have built a strong basis, recognized for our collaborative and innovative solutions for customers with complex development requirements,” stated Ms. Sandra Cernick, President of Pressure Chemical. “This new partnership allows us to further spend money on our people, facilities, and talents whilst expanding our capability to help customers development and scale-up by commercial production,” she added.

Novopor operates R&D and innovation centres in Hyderabad and manufacturing sites in Andhra Pradesh and Gujarat.
