Quaker Houghton to develop UK-based  surface treatment chemical organization Natech

The organization has finish its previously declared acquisition of Dipsol Chemicals

Quaker Houghton, the worldwide leader in industrial process fluids, introduced that it has completed its previously introduced accession of Dipsol Chemicals Co. (Dipsol), a main supplier of surface treatment and plating solutions and services primarily for the automobile and other industrial applications, for 23 billion JPY (~$153 million at current quotes).

Dipsol is headquartered in Japan and operates globally with revenues of about $82 million over the 12 months period finishing December 31, 2024. The purchase price represents a multiple of approximately 10.5x Dipsol’s pursuit 12 month valued adjusted EBITDA of about $15 million. Quaker Houghton funded the acquisition charge for this acquisition with borrowings underneath its current credit score facility.

Additionally, the company also declared today the purchase of Natech, Ltd., a U.K.-primarily based producer of surface remedy chemicals for about 4 million GBP (~$5.2 million at modern rate’s).

They additionally extend our improved solutions businesses in attractive end markets with strong increase characteristics, imparting ample possibility to cross-sell and meet the evolving requirements of our international clients.”

Dipsol was established in 1953 and is headquarter in Japan. The enterprise has a strong portfolio of products and services and a main function in the Japanese market for plating chemicals. Dipsol has about 450 employees international, and a global presence with production and R&D facilities in Asia, North America, and Europe.

Natech was established in 2002 and producers water-based cleaners, steel pre-treatment products, paint strippers and other products for a variety of commercial applications.
