Shivtek Spechemi to invest Rs. 650 crore to set up specialty chemical plants

The new facilities will adds a further manufacturing capacity of 5,00,000 MTPA

Leading speciality chemicals producers, Shivtek Spechemi Industries Ltd, a flagship enterprise of the Shiva Group of Industries, has declared its strategic growth plans of investing Rs. 650 crore to set up new brand new chemical manufacturing units in Gujarat and Rajasthan.

The enlargement will increase the organization’s manufacturing capability of caustic soda, chlorine, and high demand derivatives together with chlorinated paraffin and chlorinated polyethylene. The biggest USP of the brand new facilities includes their robust attention on green production and environment friendly product lines.

The upcoming Gujarat facility will be strategically located close to the Hazira port, imparting cost-effective logistics and seamless connectivity to both domestic and international markets. Meanwhile, the Rajasthan plant has been chosen for its strong commercial infrastructure and advantageous proximity to northern distribution hubs.

Together, those new facilities will considerably increase Shivtek Spechemi’s production abilities to up to 6,50,000 MTPA, improving the enterprises current total manufacturing potential of 1,50,000 metric tons per annum (MTPA).

Speaking on the event, Dr. Amitt Nenwani, Managing Director, Shivtek Spechemi Industries Ltd, stated, “This investment will mark a pivotal step in Shivtek Spechemi’s increase journey as we align ourselves with India’s ambition to emerge as a global manufacturing hub for strong point chemical substances. By increasing our footprint in Gujarat and Rajasthan, we aren’t only improving our manufacturing abilities however also reinforcing our dedication to sustainable innovation, import substitution, and value creation for our clients worldwide. These new plant life will allows us to serve a broader market with more efficiency, even as placing new benchmarks for environmentally responsible production in the industry.”

Construction of the new plants is set to start in 2026, with manufacturing predicted to commence between 2028 and 2029. The new plant are predicted to span throughout 100 acres. Place and generate over 500+ jobs in a span of 3 years, while website hosting superior, green technologies. These centers can even pioneer the manufacturing of positive high-grade chlorinated compounds for the primary time in India, contributing to import substitution and strengthening the nation’s chemical export skills.
