DCM Shriram and Aarti Industries form long-term strategic partnership on chlorine supply

DCM Shriram Chemicals Ltd. And Aarti Industries Ltd. (AIL) have declared an long-time period strategic agreement for the supply of chlorine.

Under this arrangement, DCM Shri ram will function the extraordinary supplier of chlorine from its chlor-alkali plant to AIL’s upcoming downstream chemicals facility at Zone IV, Jhagadia, Gujarat.

As a part of this partnership, the corporations will form a latest, jacketed underground chlorine pipeline between their plants. Designed with accuracy engineering, the pipeline ensures safety, reliability, and environmental safety. Once totally operational, AIL is anticipated to buy an additional 200-tpd (tons per day) of chlorine in constant state over-and-above the present 150-tpd being bought recently by AIL from DCM Shriram Chemicals.

Stating at the announcement, Sabaleel Nandy, ED and CEO, DCM Shriram Chemicals, stated, “This agreement is a milestone in reinforcing the deep trust with and collaboration between DCM Shriram Ltd. And Aarti Industries. By accomplishing long-term chlorine supply via world-class infrastructure, we’re supporting our leadership in protecting, sustainable, and dependable chemical incorporation. This partnership no longer most effective validates DCM Shriram’s credibility as a favored supplier however also allows us to further improve our ‘indirect chlorine incorporation’ – a main lever in maximizing value and ensuring foremost utilization of our caustic soda capacities.”

Chlorine is important to our price chain and securing it through a committed pipeline guarantees reliability and performance. Building on our earlier experience in at Zone-II, Jhagadia, this partnership with DCM Shriram reflects our commitment to delivering value to customers, traders, and groups via safer and extra dependable operations.”
